This years’ conference, which takes place on 7th April, seeks to focus on factors such as culture and will assess its impact on common issues within the glass industry, suggesting new approaches to on-going issues and how future direction and strategy incorporates these influences from the ground-up.
Culture is a crucial factor that determines the success or failure of real-life health and safety – leadership, attitudes, commitment, custom-and-practice and the daily decisions by everyone determine the success of your business. Experts will reveal the importance of these influences to both performance and defence as regulators and courts acknowledge the role that culture plays.
There will be several guest speakers present throughout the day including:
Clive Gott (Special Guest Speaker)
Frances Outram (Health and Safety Executive)
Dr Carolyn Yeoman & Kate Blackford (Highley Yeoman Consulting)
Colin Preece (Pristine Condition Ltd)
Steve Thorpe (Health and Safety Laboratory)
Zoe Betts & Kevin Bridges (Pinsent Masons LLP)
