We’re incredibly fortunate to have an amazing line-up of experts who have taken time out of their busy schedules to join us at Glass Conference. We are thrilled to be able to introduce you to your first event speakers!
Johnathan Dudley – Partner, Head of Manufacturing Midlands at Crowe UK
Johnathan established and leads the firm’s Manufacturing Business group and Manufacturing Business Network, he is also National Head of Corporate SME Business. He has served on the Crowe UK Supervisory Board and its Corporate Governance and Strategy Teams.
Johnathan sits on the ICAEW West Midlands Regional Strategy Board and an Ambassador of Birmingham City University Business school and Acorns Children’s Hospice.
Nick Caddy – Adverto Media Managing Director
Nick Caddy is managing director of Adverto Media, a digital marketing agency that specialises in supporting double glazing installation companies across the UK.
He has many years of experience in this industry as it runs in the family after his Nan & Grandad established Caddy Windows 40 years ago.
Nick is especially interested in how evolving technologies can be used to develop marketing practices, as well as being passionate about how ‘The 7 Pillars of Marketing’ are vital for any business to thrive.
Lee Galley – RISA Technical Manager
Lee is the RISA Technical Manager and heads the RISA independent inspections department. Having started work in the industry 37 years ago as a fitters mate, Lee has experienced life at businesses large and small across the industry and joined RISA at its inception in 2016.
Lee’s current role is centred around Expert Witness reporting and dispute investigations on behalf of Installation Companies, Homeowners and other stakeholders. This gives him a unique insight into why disputes arise, how they can spiral out of control and crucially, how best to avoid them.

Guy Hobson – Senior Recruitment Consultant, Chase Taylor Recruitment Ltd
Guy first started within the glazing industry ten years ago working within a national domestic installation business, leading their customer service division.
Having first-hand experience within in the industry, he uses that understanding at Chase Taylor Recruitment to attract, retain and re-engage talented people from within and back into the industry.
Recruiting across all divisions from extrusion, materials, fabrication and installation, he has an expert knowledge of the industry’s talent pool, skills shortage, salary parameters and the challenges that leaders face when recruiting and attracting talent to their business.
John Mannell – GGF Technical Officer and Training Manager
John Mannell is the GGF Training Manager and Technical Officer. John is continuously trying to increase access to good quality learning and widen development opportunities within our sector.
Ensuring alignment with industry requirements and long term vision of allowing companies to evaluate performance, identify training needs to enhance organizational effectiveness.
Sam Davies – FENSA Technical Manager
With over 20 years industry experience, Sam has held many different roles ranging from installer to surveyor and contracts manager.
During his 5 years with the GGF group, he has developed into his role as Technical Manager at FENSA. Sam is responsible for all matters related to building regulations from inspections and competence to complaints and government legislation.
He has a passion for continued improvement of industry standards, reputation and performance.
Kevin Jones – GGF Senior Technical Officer
Kevin is the GGF Senior Technical Officer and has extensive experience within the fenestration industry working closely with specifiers, system houses and installers.
He has extensive experience within the new build sector and has an excellent working understanding of the building regulations and the impact they have on our sector.
Please be aware any GGF Members who register for a free ticket, but fail to turn up to the event, will be expected to pay for the full price of the ticket. Glass Conference is an exciting, brand-new networking and educational opportunity for many, we expect tickets to go quickly, and by not turning up but taking a ticket – this may take the place away from someone else who wishes to attend.
